FAQs
Where is it?
OVY Campground is a venue in San Gregorio, California. It’s less than an hour's drive from both the San Francisco and San Jose International Airports.
Do I need to book accommodation?
Lodging is included at the campground Friday night through Monday morning.
If you are traveling internationally and want to arrive a day early to account for jet lag, then we recommend booking your own accommodation for Thursday night. We recommend staying in Half Moon Bay or Redwood City.
What is the accommodation like?
The campground has a lodge and cabins with bunk beds. You will be sharing a cabin with other guests. Cabins are one room and do not have outlets or heating. Showers and bathrooms are in separate buildings. Please see map. The lodge has bathrooms and a kitchen, so these spots will be given to families with small children and people with limited mobility. There will be a place on your RSVP form to indicate if you prefer a spot in the lodge.
If you prefer to stay offsite in a hotel, there are many nearby in Half Moon Bay or Redwood City.
How do I get from the airport to the venue?
If you are arriving from out of town, you will need to rent a car. Parking space is limited so we recommend coordinating your flight with other guests so you can share a rental car.
Is there parking available on-site?
Parking is available but limited. Please indicate on your RSVP if you are able to give other guests a ride, or if you need a ride and we can help everyone arrange carpools.
Can I bring my own tent?
Yes! There is space in the cabins/lodge for everyone, but if you would prefer the privacy of your own tent, there is plenty of space to tent camp.
What do I need to bring?
If you are local to the Bay Area and won’t be traveling far, we request that you bring your own bedding (towel, sheet, pillow, and blanket) to reduce waste.
Please see the packing list tab for more info.
